Bush and Elvis Political Cartoon (ca. Nov. 1988)

I thought I was the star artist of the world. I could totally draw that snake, seen here in a rare left-facing shot, and on a ladder. He’s been tagged by a pro-Dukakis gang.

I also thought I drew a great Elvis and George H.W. Bush. So, why not put them all together in one drawing. Elvis will be a Republican and have sideburns in his mouth. Bush will wear a nice pair of Kanye West-style Venetian blind sunglasses, and have an underbite that even Jay Leno would be proud of.

There’s really no need for a deep story here. B., the snake, is in mid-dump of a bucket of vomit on the incoming president. Sour grapes, he is. That should do it.

And mold? You bet!
